12 Jun Startup competition: Lifmec became one of the finalists.

Lifmec became on of the five finalists companies of the Asturias Investor´s Day startup competition. The event was a showcase for business opportunities that are being developed in Asturias, and the potential of the region to attract business investment.

The aim of Asturias Investor´s Day was to concentrate, on a single day, a series of activities of potential interest to investors: an investment forum where the best innovative startups presented their projects, a startup competition, private meetings with medium and consolidated enterprises seeking financial impulse, and a workshop on attracting investment to the region.

The startup competition brought together more than 50 startup companies from different sectors – including health, mobile, biotechnology, industry, education, and energy. The group of around 75 investors participanting in the event selected the five most innovative projects of the year.

Lifmec, as one of the finalists startups, had also the opportunity to present the project in front of the audience.
