25 May REVIEW: LIFMEC AT INTERZUM 2017

Last week, LIFMEC participated as an exhibitor at INTERZUM 2017 – the leading expo about furniture production and interiors design – to present an innovative product for the upholstery industry: SOFA HANDLER U210.

The presentation of sofa handler U210 at Interzum show represented a world premiere in the category of machines for the upholstery industry.

Our more than 130 visitors from around 40 countries, mainly sofa manufacturers, had the opportunity to discover how the sofa handler can easily lift, position, and turn the sofa (through a handheld remote-control).

This innovative machine allows sofa manufacturers not only to increase process productivity and improve process efficiency, but also significantly enhances worker´s health and well-being.

Interzum 2017

Interzum ended on 19 May 2017 with record results. A total of approximately 69,000 visitors from 152 countries attended the world’s largest trade fair for furniture production and interior construction between 16 and 19 May 2017. Some 1,732 exhibitors from 60 countries presented their innovations at interzum 2017. Foreign exhibitors accounted for 79 per cent of the total.
